Please find below vessel updates for the Courageous Ace V.121, Primrose Ace v.89, Glovis Caravel v.16, Adria Ace V.63, Palmela V.157 and Garnet Ace V.63.
Courageous Ace V.121
We are pleased to advise that the Courageous Ace has completed discharge at all New Zealand ports and has departed New Zealand.
Glovis Caravel V.16
The Glovis Caravel V.16 inspections by MPI are progressing well.
Current status:
- Final units, to be heat treated, will be completed today (18th of April).
- Main decks cargo has been discharged, cleared and released by MPI.
- We expect to have clearance for a full discharge once final units complete heat treatment.
- Today (18th of April) subject to yard space on Ports of Auckland we will look to discharge 2 decks (approx. 400 units) of cargo for MPI to complete their deck surveillance requirements.
- As further space becomes available on Ports of Auckland we will continue to discharge the Glovis Caravel V.16 until completed.
Our current estimation, based on space availability at Ports of Auckland, is to complete full discharge by the 21st/22nd of April, if not earlier should yard space become available.
We will look to release cargo as soon as possible once cleared by MPI.
Due to discharge delays in Auckland from lack of yard space and the planned strike action in Lyttelton we regret to advise that the Glovis Caravel v.16 will not be calling Lyttelton or Nelson.
All Nelson cargo ex the Glovis Caravel V.16 will tranship in Auckland to the Adria Ace v.63
All Lyttelton cargo ex the Glovis Caravel V.16 will tranship in Auckland to the Palmela V.157

Adria Ace V.63
The Adria Ace V.63 remains at anchor after arriving New Zealand the 13th of April due to berth and space congestion in Auckland. The Adria Ace V.63 will berth Auckland after the departure of the Glovis Caravel V.16 approx. 21st/22nd of April if not earlier.
Due to planned strike action in Lyttelton we regret to advise that the Adria Ace V.63 will have to omit Lyttelton.
All Lyttelton cargo ex the Adria Ace V.63 will tranship Auckland to the Palmela V.157.
Palmela V.157
The Palmela V.157 is currently due to arrive New Zealand on the 20th of April.
Due to previously mentioned Berth and yard space congestion we regret to advise that we also expect the Palmela V.157 to be delayed before being able to berth in Auckland.
Below estimated is the current estimated schedule and will update this as Ports of Auckland advise on berth and space availability.
Garnet Ace V.63
Per previous notice, due to berth and yard congestion the Garnet Ace V.63 will also have to go to anchor on arrival and will be delayed awaiting a berth. We regret to advise due to these delays the Garnet Ace V.63 will not be calling New Zealand. All New Zealand cargo will be discharged in Brisbane and transhipped to the Brooklands V.11 current ETA New Zealand the 24th of April. Due to current berth congestion we will advise Auckland berth date asap.
On current schedules all Wellington, Lyttelton and Nelson cargo ex the Garnet Ace V.63/Brooklands V.11 will tranship Auckland on to the Valiant Ace V.49.
Lyttelton Port Strikes
To date there has been no change to planned strike action by the RMTU in Lyttelton. Strike action in Lyttelton will start the 20th of April ending midnight on the 24th of April and then from the 26th of April ending midnight on the 29th of April.
New Zealand Coastal Cargo:
We regret to advise that due to previously mentioned delays in Auckland we are unable to accept any domestic coastal booking until the Valiant Ace V.49 ETA Auckland approx. 7 th of May. ETA subject to Auckland berth congestion.
