For your information regarding the BMSB situation:

Effected Toyofuji Vessels:

Sepang Express v44 –

This Vessel is currently near Noumea, New Caledonia and Toyofuji are in talks with MPI and New Caledonian officials with regards to thermo fogging the vessel there and again once it is on its way back into NZ.
Currently there is no updated ETA for this vessel.

Transfuture 6 v102 –

This vessel is currently on its way to Brisbane, Australia and are talking with DAFF and officials there about how to deal with this issue.

Dream Orchid v06 –

The Dream Orchid has suspended voyage and is currently drifting off the coast of Japan awaiting developments.

Effected Armacup Vessels:

Tokyo Car v1802 –

After the arrival of this vessel in Auckland on 11/02/18 and the discovery of BMSB, this vessel was instructed by MPI to leave New Zealand Territory.
This vessel is now currently on its way back to Auckland and expected to berth in the next 24 hours.
This vessel will undergo the same inspection regime as per Transfuture 5 v105 and will see what the outcome is with MPI.

Morning Menad v1852 –

This vessel is “en route” to Auckland from Japan and will also be subjected to the same issues as the vessels rejected by MPI. Armacup are therefore delaying the arrival of this vessel until we have a solution to the BMSB problem.

If a solution can be found in New Zealand, the earliest ETA for Auckland bound cargo would be 21/02/18

Carrera v1803 –

This vessel is expected to arrive in Brisbane on schedule 18/02/18. Australian authorities are also stepping up the inspection of vessels arriving from North Asia and Armacup have already been advised that this vessel will be inspected for BMSB.
No further information can be provided until ship inspection has taken place upon arrival.

Lake Taupo v1804 –

Lake Taupo has suspended voyage after loading in China and South Korean ports and is currently drifting off the coast of South Korea awaiting developments. This vessel may continue its voyage without loading Japan cargoes in order to ensure schedule maintenance for timely delivery of cargoes already on board.

As it is not possible for the vessel to remain at sea indefinitely for obvious reasons, all parts of the industry are continuing to work with MPI and other parties to find a solution that can satisfy MPI’s requirements.
We are also awaiting further notices from MPI surrounding these issues.

Please be advised that given the current situation, there are likely to be further delays and additional treatment required by MPI resulting in additional costs over your usual D2D package. These additional charges may also include vehicles that you intend on buying in future.
