Dear Valued Customers,
Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB)/Heat Treatment season will start again on September 1st this year.
All used vehicles departing Japan on or after this date will be subject to mandatory Heat Treatment as per MPI requirements.
At this stage, vehicles on Dream Angel 65, Trans Future 7 170, Tortugas OO639 and all subsequent vessels will be subject to Heat Treatment.
Note that any delays to current schedules which result in the ultimate departure date falling in September will mean that vehicles require treatment.
Light vehicles up to 3T will again be subject to a heat treatment charge of $225.00.
All larger units, over 20m3 will be subject to higher costs for both Heat Treatment and MPI inspection moving forward from September 1st this year. Rates will vary depending on the overall dimensions and weight of the vehicle.
