We trust you are keeping safe and well and for those of you based outside of Auckland, are looking forward to a drop down to Alert Level 3.

We’re pleased to confirm that our transporters will be able to complete deliveries closer to “normal” once the Alert Levels change, this includes deliveries recommencing to areas outside of main centres. Transporters can complete deliveries from Level 4 Auckland to other areas in Level 3 as well, on a strictly contactless basis.

Vehicles that are in storage destined for Auckland addresses will be delivered once Auckland is able to return to Alert Level 3. Vehicle transportation off ports is prioritised over delivery of vehicles from storage, so there may be some slight delays in some vehicles reaching their final destination.

Please ensure that your compliance centre is open and has sufficient space to receive vehicles. We expect there will be congestion throughout the network for a few weeks whilst the compliance centres work through the backlog of cars.

For your reference, our transporters have provided the following guidelines for Contactless Pick Up and Delivery:

This process was developed using Ministry of Health guidance to ensure every precaution is taken for your health and safety, as well as that of our team members.

Our delivery teams have been briefed on the COVID-19 process and this is what you can expect on pick up or delivery. Customers must ensure safe operational conditions for our drivers.

Collection or delivery may be refused.

  1. Arriving Safely

There will be only one team member in the truck.

The transport team member will be wearing appropriate PPE in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines.

  1. Delivery – The Two-Metre Rule

Compliance Centres and Dealerships etc. – We will call prior to delivery

We’ll go to the reception area and alert you that we have a delivery of vehicle(s), keeping a safe two-metre distance from everyone at all times.

  1. Pick Up or Delivery at our Depots – The Two-Metre Rule

Call and make an appointment with the depot.

On arrival, follow the instructions from our staff managing the gate.

Park or collect the vehicle in/from the designated area.

Please Note – You will not be able to enter any of our buildings, nor have face-to-face contact with any of our team members.

  1. Completing the delivery at a safe distance

The delivery team will:

  1. a) Get the vehicle(s) from the truck and safely move it to the specified parking space(s).
  2. b) Ask you to inspect the vehicle(s).
  3. c) Our drivers will clearly mark all details on the paperwork.
  4. d) Our driver will write down your details.
