Greetings,
Hope you are all staying safe and well after week 2 of the lockdown.
BMSB High Risk Season cessation
The BMSB high risk season will conclude on April 30th for all used vehicles and machinery exported from Japan and arriving in NZ from this date.
Autohub can confirm that from the following vessels, the BMSB surcharge will cease:
Shipping company | Vessel | AKL ETA |
TOYOFUJI | TRANS FUTURE 7 120 | 7-May |
ARMACUP | MORNING MIDAS 2008 | 6-May |
MAERSK | SIGON 016S | 7-Jun |
The compulsory requirement of Heat Treatment in Japan will cease mid-April but this is not to say Heat Treatment will not continue in Japan if deemed necessary (e.g Live contamination is found on a vehicle); however Autohub will ensure importers are not charged for services outside the requirements of MPI’s Import Health Standard.
As always, if you have any questions or need further information re the above, please contact us at customerservices@autohub.co.nz
Please stay well and we will continue to send out updates as more information comes to hand.
