Autohub has been advised recently by several shipping lines that bunker fuel prices have increased significantly in the last 6 months. This together with additional delays and fuel consumption has left them no choice but to introduce/increase BAF charges from the second quarter this year.
At this stage, not all shipping lines we use have confirmed what the new BAF rates will be, but we know they are coming….Â
So, at this stage, please be advised there will be increased costs coming likely from April and we will announce what the actual costs are when we have all the shipping lines have confirmed.
