RE: Surcharges increasing for used Electric Vehicles.
We have been advised by Wallenius Wilhelmsen that the surcharge applicable for used Electric Vehicles (EVs) will increase from NZD $275.00 to NZD $395.00 per vehicle for all used EVs departing Japan on or after 1 August 2026.
This is a surcharge applicable to used EVs only and is passed on at cost.
