We are seeing continuing delays with vessel unloading at Ports of Auckland due to continuing high volume arrivals and the struggle by the transporter sector to keep up with clearing the port. We are also finding that Compliance shops, dealer yards and storage areas are full which puts added stress on clearing the port. (Simply put, we can’t get vehicles off but when we do, we have nowhere to take them!)
Subsequently, we anticipate that vehicles arriving on the Trans Future 5 v99 and the Carrera 1709 will be delivered later than expected. Vehicles being trans-shipped on the Trans Future 5 v99 down the line will likely also be delayed.
We are working as hard as possible to ensure vehicles get delivered as quickly as possible. It would be of great assistance if you check to see if your nominated delivery address can receive your vehicles and that payments were made on time so transporter lists can show all vehicles are cleared for delivery. Vehicles or services not paid for as required do cause additional delays as these vehicles have to be identified and transported elsewhere.
